The Gilles Berthoud "décalur du sac" is intended to stabilize the frontbags that sit on racks. It is NOT meant to be the only support of a handlebar bag. There are four variations of this bracket. "Vertical" brackets are in the left column of this page. There are two versions of this bracket. The V91 (top) and the V121 (middle). The "91" and "121" are the extension, in mm. The attachment of this bracket to the stem is illustrated in the bottom picture. "Horizontal" brackets are in the right column. H91 (top), H121 (middle), and the attachment detail (bottom) The two sleeves on either side of the central bracket bolt to the bag. There is a rod that goes through the three separate tubes, providing a quick-release function. There is no chart or guide to tell you if these brackets will work with your particular application. It is up to you to look at the pictures and decide which variation of this bracket will do the job for you. Nitto stems use smaller bolts than supplied. It will be up to you to source the appropriate bolt. |
