Berthoud AH Decaleur (threadless stem)

A decaleur is used to stabilize a front bag that sits on a rack. Bags like the Berthoud 20, 22, 25, and 28 models. This decaleur attaches to a threadless stem with a four-bolt face plate by replacing two of the faceplate mounting bolts with those that come with the decaleur. 

Two sleeves bolt onto the frontbag. When the bag is in place a rod passes throught the two sleeves and a sleeve on the decaleur.

The bolt holes on the GB decaleur adjust between 22 and 28mm. Three sets of bolts are supplied:

• M5 x 35
• M5 x 40
• M6 x 35

The decaleur comes in 50mm and 70mm lengths. Berthoud has provided a chart to help decide which length is best for your application. (see photos)
