The GILLES BERTHOUD Saddlebag available in grey or black
Strap & Buckle or Elastic closure
	The Gilles Berthoud saddlebag is made of cotton fabric with leather trim. The strap that attaches the bag to the saddle rails is a black Christophe toe strap. The closure mechanism is either elastic over a hook or leather strap-and-buckle. The elastic closure is easier to use, the strap looks cool. Both are secure.
By the way; there is no need to adjust your monitor. This is a grey bag on a CLB seatpost and an Antique Brown B.17ti. The bag is a little narrower than the saddle. The mouth of the bag measures 6" wide by 4" tall. From the lower edge of the mouth to the attachment point for the seatpost strap is 8 3/4".	A Customer Writes: "Just writing to tell you how much I like my new Berthoud saddlebag. I went on a five hour ride yesterday and the saddlebag was perfect for tools, a tube, snacks, and a rolled up windbreaker. the only modification I've made is to remove the stitch on the lower edge of the bag so tht I can slide m ID and some cash in the newly created pocket." Justine Nicholas' British Racing Green Brooks B-17, King Cage water bottle cages, and Berthoud saddle bag on her Mercian. The right picture, taken from the rear, shows the bike's unique finish. Mercian calls it "flip-flop." From most angles, it looks purple. But when the light hits it at certain angles, the bike takes on a metallic greenish tint.
