I asked Gilles if the fabric that he uses for the bags is a cotton blend. He said it is all cotton. I asked if it is waterproof. He replied that maybe it isn't "waterproof" but that it is very "water resistant". He picked up a scrap of fabric and asked Veronique to stitch it into the bag that you see here. Then he filled it with water to demonstrate. There was no leakage.
