Brooks Oxford Rain Cape

The Brooks Oxford rain cape is a feature-packed, elegant way to keep dry in the rain. 

This cape is made of waxed cotton with "Dashing Tweed" reflective accents, and leather straps. It rolls into a self-contained pocket that can be attached to the saddle with the dashing tweed facing the traffic to make the cyclist more conspicuous. The hood provides good face coverage, the seams are taped, and the cape is made in England.

Cycling rain capes typically have a tent-like front to cover the arms and hands on the handlebars. There should be wrist, or thumb, loops  and ties in the back of the cape to go around the thighs. The ties and loops ensure that the cape will stay in place while cycling.

Cycling rain capes give very good coverage with unrestricted ventilation. Fenders are recommended to complement the cape.
