Dual Rail Saddles and the Clamp vs. the Sandwich

Dual rail saddles (B-66, B-66 'S', B-66 Champion, Champion 'S', B-72, B-73, B-135) cannot be mounted directly on a standard micro-adjust seat-post.

The options are:
  • change the post to a plain-top model and use the clamp that Brooks supplies with the saddle
  • use a Breeze Cycles "Seat Sandwich" to adapt the frame to your micro-adjust post.

The following five pictures illustrate these options

  • note: The large-hole Seat Sandwich in the pictures is an old model for a two-bolt seat post. It is no longer available
This single-bolt version is the only one we have now.
  • If you need some other configuration please consider: this is aluminum. It is easy to modify with file or grinder. The middle of the Seat Sandwich only serves to hold the two edges that fill in the space between the saddle rails.
