Gilles likes best to fit his customers in person. His clean, spacious shop is on the outskirts of Pont de Vaux, France. His staff seems relaxed and happy.

I wanted a comfortable touring bike to be a modern realization of the French tradition. When there was a question of equipment I most often deferred to Gilles. I wanted the bike that he wanted to build. I did express a preference for Campagnolo drivetrains and I specified no saddle or pedals. French parts were to be used where appropriate.
