Taking place on the grass of the York, England, Racecourse, the York Rally and Cycle Show was founded in 1945. It attracts something between 10 and 20 thousand cyclists for a weekend of rides, events, sales, and cameraderie. Many of the attendees camp with tents or caravans on the grounds of the racecourse.
