ITM calls their adjustable version of the butterfly handlebar the "Synergic".

This is a high-quality and extremely versatile touring bar that can provide an endless array of hand positions.

The bars can also be folded to facilitate transporting the bike.

Typically, MTB grips and controls will be placed at the ends of the bars. There is nothing all that typical about these bars, though, so let your imagination be your guide.
