Velox Rim Strips

Rim strips protect the tube from spoke tips and prevent the tube from expanding into the hole in the rim. Velox Fond du Jant rim strips are the tried and true old standard. They are made from a heavy cotton fabric with an adhesive backing.  You need one roll per wheel.

Velox rim strips come in 3 widths: 

• 10mm for narrow racing rims
• 17mm for most rims
• 21mm for wide MTB rims
