The Brooks Handlebar Tape is made of natural leather to make it a perfect compliment to your Brooks Saddle. It is natural, breathable, and durable.

The Bar Tape comes with: two 82" strips of perforated leather bar tape, 2 cork and wood bar end plugs with the Brooks logo, short underbrake pieces and 2 adhesive top wrap strips. The tape is 30mm wide and app. 2mm thick in the center 20mm. 5mm on either side is a taper to a feather edge. There is a narrow strip of sticky-back tape to aid in wrapping.

"I ordered this stuff a month or two ago while on tour, after 3-4 sets of bar tape between Anacortes, WA and Williston, ND I was ready to pay $60 plus fedex to get something that just might not tear. The person I talked to on the phone said that he had no long term experence with it. So here goes:
This stuff will outlast my bike. Actually it has, my 520 cracked outside of Palmyra, NY (You have an recommendations on really really strong frames?). A few thousand miles and this stuff is no worse for wear. It does slip a bit too much, but with its strength you can easily adjust it. The one side effect of a $60 bar tape that lasts forever and is made of leather is that it sort of smells, but thats a small sacrafice if you wear gloves and have some hand sanitizer stuff.
This may not be my last bar tape, but it'll certainly last for a long time. Strangely enough, a good value.
